I’m a science journalist and ex-neuroscientist.

I’m fascinated by the culture of science, how technology shapes the creation of knowledge, and the mind itself. Through conversations and storytelling, I want to imagine how we can do science better.

Most recently, I was a Future Perfect fellow at Vox. Previously, I was a 2023 AAAS Mass Media fellow at WIRED and a 2022 early-career science writing fellow at The Open Notebook. I transitioned to journalism after receiving my Ph.D. from the UC Berkeley Helen Wills Neuroscience Institute in 2023.
